In one word: magic.
I have tried writing this review many times. And it just never felt like I was really able to explain how amazing of an experience it was. We were lucky enough to shoot with Olesya on her quick stop by NYC. She’s extremely organized and thoughtful. From helping pick outfits, putting together a special playlist for us, communicating everything and giving my camera shy husband all the tips to relax and have fun. We faced some inconvenient weather, a heat wave and rain. Olesya worked through it perfectly and incorporated the elements. The results are something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I have been in awe of Olesya for years! Her work is pure magic so being photographed by her was a literal dream come true!
I love how organized and detailed she is. She knows exactly what colors photograph best and with what location. Our shoot was FUN! That is saying a lot because we have three little girls, one of which is a baby! My girls loved her, my husband loved her, what more could you ask for in a photographer. The photos are INSANE. Olesya was hands down the best photographer to work with.
She was honestly a blast to be around during the entire experience which made everything much more relaxed and a fun time. She was patient with the kids and simply captured the joy of them having fun and it was the most peaceful photography session I have ever had with my kids. No pressure whatsoever. She also had an amazing client closet and had the greatest eye for what looks flattering on everyone. I will forever cherish these photos for the rest of my life. They are the best photos I have ever received and a true gift to have these memories with my family.

Olesya is by far the best family photographer and I’m so glad that I’ve found her.
Who knew that we didn’t need great weather to get perfect photos at the beach!? She kept my almost 3 years old toddler’s interest and participation throughout the entire session. He even said “that was so much fun!” at the end. And we all truly had a lot of fun playing on the beach. Olesya also helped me a lot with styling the entire family and made sure that we looked great together. I will definitely be booking Olesya again!

Olesya is hands-down the best family photographer EVER.
I have used multiple family photographers over the years in Los Angeles to capture my growing family and after my first shoot with her last year I knew she was the only photographer I wanted to work with moving forward. She even happily came to the rescue when I needed help with last minute newborn photos. Olesya’s eye for styling, color and composition is flawless. She’s great with the littles and made my camera-shy husband comfortable and got a lot of natural shots of him (which is no easy task!). I am so excited for our next shoot with her for our holiday photos as I get so many compliments on how amazing our photos come out! Olesya is a true wizard. Her talent is just breathtaking. Her work is just like a movie, every story is so different and special.
We did a couple of photo sessions with her, and every time it’s just amazing. Me and my family are Ukrainians, it is a very hard time for us now, because of this terrible war. When Olesya found out that we managed to bring my mom, sister and grandma from Ukraine, she offered to do our reunion pictures and to donate all money to the Ukrop.us – volunteers who are helping Ukrainian civilian defenders. Olesya is an absolutely phenomenal photographer!! This is our second shoot with her and we will continue to go back to have our family shoots with her.
I cannot say enough great things about working with her. Olesya’s work is stunning-she is truly an artist. Not only is the final product great, but so is the process. She is a gem to work with and is so helpful with coordinating outfits for everyone. Additionally, she comes prepared with great directions and tools to keep things going smoothly with small children (4, 18 mo and 5 months) and teens. I honestly could continue to go on and on about Olesya-like her coming to me to drop off dresses when I couldn’t find any I liked and driving to Joshua tree to do the shoot. Don’t waste another minute looking and book Olesya if you want photos you will cherish forever!

I am not able to explain in words the gift that Olesya gave to my family and me through her photos.

If you are looking for a photographer who is both great working with families and has an amazing aesthetic look no further. We wanted pictures to really show “us” as a family, and I couldn’t believe how well she captured the spirit of our family members and how we interacted that day. I can’t wait to blow up some of these pictures and hang them in our house. When she sent me a video collage I literally had tears streaming down my face. We’ve hired plenty of professional photographers in the past but this one hit different. I hope this review helps other people with their photographer options.
